Farming

The people of the region depend primarily on agriculture The area has a privileged agricultural character. It was known in the past for the quality of its crops and fruits represented in (apples, vines, geraqa, cherries, citruses, ... etc.. This is due to the passage of a mouse valley on its edge, where the farmers of the area used to take it as a source for irrigation: but now And after the decrease in rainfall, and due to the loss of the amount that falls annually and which goes down the drain through the valley without being exploited due to the absence of any basin containing it, the level of these crops decreased, but did not exist, and agriculture and farmers remained suffering and depended on rain fall for the irrigation of various grains, in addition, the Some of them use wells.

The total area allocated to agriculture, according to the statistics of the agricultural services for the year 2008, ranges from 1839 hectares, of which 79 hectares are unproductive, 1760 hectares are used, and 100 hectares are irrigated, while the forest area is estimated at 60 hectares.

Industry

The region lacks industrial areas and companies, so the industry has it It is limited to some crafts practiced by some residents, such as iron industry (doors, windows, ...) and wood industry (doors, windows, tanks, ...) in addition to installing glass.

Commerce

The area is known as the municipal weekly market , which takes place every Saturday . It is a market for cars, in addition to a variety of commodities.

Trade in the region also depends on various food stores, vegetable and fruit stores, cafes, kiosks and fast food stores, in addition to 30 professional stores. The property of the state has been rented to help the youth of the area to practice their crafts.
